Careers in Marketing
Marketing is an expansive field that covers industries from advertising to travel and tourism, from retail to sports and entertainment, from real estate to Internet marketing. As people do everything from shopping and dating to trading stock and taking classes on the Internet, e-Commerce is only going to get bigger. As a result, the acceleration of the Internet has made marketing a rapidly growing field. In fact, it is estimated that worldwide over 30% of all workers work in some area of marketing. Careers in marketing include:

- Fashion Merchandising: Buyer, Display Coordinator
- International Marketing: Market Research Analyst

Meet a Marketing Education Student
Ryan Archibald, a graduate of Granger High School, enjoyed a concentration of business and marketing courses while attending high school. "During my senior year, I remember running the School Store, which is a part of the Retailing Curriculum. I didn't need to be in school to earn any credits toward graduation, but I ran the store and ended up making a profit that was added to the Marketing Department student funds.
